Moving in the Spirit is a creative youth development program and nonprofit that uses dance to cultivate social, emotional and cognitive skills in children and teens, helping them to overcome they challenges they face each day as confident, resilient, compassionate leaders.
Each May, their students create and perform a show for an audience of 800 at the Rialto Center for the Arts downtown.
Moving in the Spirit asked me to design the look for their show: SOAR be bold. be brave. believe. My illustrations served as the visual anchor for the show and were used for all promotional materials and as the cover for the show's printed program.
